| 12K's of Christmas 10am (Charity) Location: Freestone District Park Gilbert To be held at the Town of Gilbert’s Freestone District Park on Saturday December 12 from 8 am to 2 pm, the 12K’s of Christmas is a unique family celebration of health, fitness and the joy of Christmas. The event features Christmas Caroling in the park, led by local youth and performing groups, plus a 12K run with carolers at every K, a 1.2K family fun run/walk, a Christmas Bazaar with hand-made items, and Santa’s Pet Village where you can make new furry friends. | A Night Out to Benefit FCM's Wish Upon a Star 6:30pm-11:30pm (Charity) Location: Dolce Salon & Spa- 8385 West Mariners Way, Peoria Foundation for Children with Microcephaly is having a fundraiser to benefit our Wish Upon a Star Program. FCM’s Wish Upon a Star program was designed to grant the wishes of children diagnosed with Microcephaly and other neurological disorders. A Night Out to Benefit FCM’s Wish Upon a Star Program will be a gala/cocktail party complete with silent auction, raffle, food, drinks, music and fun! Cost: $30 per person / $50 per couple.
