JIM ROOT STILL RECOVERING FROM SURGERY

98 KUPD's DESERT UPRISING powered by Rockstar Energy Drink will take place Friday, September 28 and Saturday, September 29 at Ashley Furniture Homestore Pavilion.

The updated lineup for the two-day rock extravaganza includes a solo performance by Corey Taylor.  Stone Sour will not be able to perform due to guitarist Jim Root having surgery and he will need recovery time.  As many of you remember his appendix burst this summer and he recently underwent surgery.  "We hope that Jim has a full and speedy recovery and are excited that Corey Taylor has stepped up to perform" states Larry McFeelie, Program Director at KUPD.
