Max Mosley sues Google in France and Germany over 'orgy' search results

Max Mosley is suing Google in France and Germany in an attempt to force the internet company to monitor and censor search results about his alleged sado-masochistic orgy.

The former Formula One boss revealed he is taking legal action against Google during his testimony before the Leveson inquiry at London's royal courts of justice on Thursday.

Mosley is battling to remove from the internet false and libellous references to an alleged "Nazi-themed" orgy and a News of the World video. He told the inquiry he had taken legal action in 22 countries and ordered the removal of material from 193 websites in Germany.

"The fundamental thing is that Google could stop this appearing but they don't or won't as a matter of principle," he told the inquiry. "The really dangerous things are the search engines."

It is understood Google has removed hundreds of references to the defamatory claims after requests from Mosley's solicitors. READ MORE HERE

 

 

Having a brawl: Study finds most harmful nightlife fights kick off on dance floor

When you’re at the work Christmas party this festive season, make sure you don’t dance anywhere near the office snitch.

A study has found that the dance floor is the most likely place for brawls to break out inside a drinking establishment.

Around one in five of the most harmful incidents took place on the dance floor, while another 13 per cent were near it, researchers found.

The research, by the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto found, looked at ‘hotspots’ for aggression in bars and clubs across the city during a two-year study. READ MORE HERE

Researchers made more than 1,300 visits to 118 bars and clubs that could hold more than 300 people. They went on Fridays and Saturdays between midnight and 3 a.m.

 

 

Cops: Man stabs wife to death at bank in South Carolina Walmart

Holiday shoppers at a South Carolina Walmart watched in horror as a man stabbed his wife to death in the store during a heated argument, authorities said.

The big box retailer remained opened for business after the grisly slaying, police and witnesses said.

Avery Blandin, 46, of Simpsonville, is facing murder charges for brutally stabbing his wife, Lila Blandin, 38, as she was worked at a bank located inside the Greenville store on Saturday, cops told local station WYFF.

Phillip Tallent was shopping for Christmas lights with his family when he heard the chilling screams.

"When I looked, I could see a couple of stabbing motions, and I started to run towards the front," Tallent told the station. "When I got up there ... (the man) was making a stomping motion at (the woman) across her chest and neck area.”

Blandin fled the scene, but cops caught up with him after he wrecked his truck during the getaway attempt, police said. READ MORE HERE
