Pick of the Week: Hell Yeah / Band of Brothers

The new album from Hell Yeah picks up where Stampede left off, but it also adds a bit more intensity to a few of the songs.  There is your standard drinking song like “Drink Drank Drunk” and it brutally opens with “War Within.”  Band Of Brothers is not a radical change to their format but it does progress towards a heavier side of Hell Yeah that has only grazed the surface of their musical exploration.  If you are a fan of Hell Yeah I know you will enjoy the hell out of the new album.  If you have already made up your mind about the band than I do not predict this will sway your decision.  Band of Brothers is a good, solid commercial sounding metal album that gets you rocking and reminds you that there are different styles of metal, even fun good time styles, that can be appreciated in their own way.
