JamesThurman3 - I'm glad I didn't pay money to hear that album. very disapointing
Larry McFeelie - I actually like it. They're trying out something new and going in a different direction. Korn has always been first to do that. Take a look at Family Values...Korn was one of the first to start integrating Rap into their style of Rock. It's just another natural progression of their music. To each his own.
Shan Man - I agree with Larry and not because I work with him.
I remember being in college and NOT liking Korn at all because it didn't sound like the music of the times--but the rest of the world liked it. Korn was cutting edge back then and have continued to push the envelope by integrating other styles into their music. There are some bands that have a difficult time doing it, but I believe that after listening to this album, Korn will have success with it. You can't deny good tunes and that album is full of 'em.
LarryJoe - I like it! It's different. At least it's not "Untitled" or "See You on the Other Side". I may actually buy this one.
nogson92 - i click on the link biut im not getting to listen.... any help?
JamesThurman3 - The thing is that I like Get UP and Narcsisstic Canniibal that is played all the time but the rest of the album just seems like it went another direction. The best way I can describe it is if someone had said "hey check it out, free pizzia!" and you get there and find out it has topings you don't like on it. Its about at that level of disapointment to me, but whatever, to each his own.
friday13 - Wow, amazing job KoRn..My only complaint is..i wish the guitars were as loud as they were in the song "bleeding out". But over all fantastic. Jonathan's vocals are insane. Totally going to buy this CD. So i can get the "encounter" dvd. lol
GO KUPD!!!!
6Ko6Rn6 - HUGE KoRn FAN Here Giggity Fracken Goo i love this album! 2 more days till i own this motha. Another great album by them they never dissapoint. screw all naysayers that say otherwise. And! screw any "korn fan" who says there a fan but nitpick about certain albums and or songs (True fans of this great band love all). This record will be another trend setter yet again.
JamesThurman3 - well, I don't care what anyone says, dubstep is dubstep or whatever the **** people want to call that, its not something I tolerate very well. One of the many reasons I listen to rock music is so I don't have to listen to dubstep. Dont get me wroing, I don't mind the sound boards, I can listen to StaticX and Rammstien all day long with their sound. I want to like this album because its Korn, I like Korn, I like Korn as much as I like the food corn, the dubstep is just not happening with me. I've busted radios and tried to stab people before because they wouldn't shut that dubstep **** off or at least keep it at a reasonable volume. If dubstep becomes a trend and every other band keeps cranking out dubstep sounds I'm going back to listening to bands like Lanb of God or Black Dahlia ****** and what not.(just about anything you would hear on Into the Pit really) I can put up with dubstep sounds for a little bit, in moderation, but don't ever push me with it. This album isn't the worst album ever by any means, it has good vocals and good lyrics, and it isn't anywhere near as bad as the polished **** Metalica came out with recently, I give it that, its just not worthy enough for my dollar.
Jimmy - Great Tune!!!
lilmanz97 - the album is sick
cymruman - I thought Rock was hard, loud, pure guitars, bass, drums, or any "real" instruments.. Dubstep is Electronica that has no place in the purity of rock and roll.. and especially on a rock station.. unless you are changing to a dubstep station? then I will be sure to start looking for something other station to listen to... sadly.. you guys are one of the last real rock stations..
LyleBear - Metallica Linkin Park have lost their aggresivness and now Korn WTF... Instead of trying to keep fans they are slowly losing fans. I agree metal is supposed to be loud and the latest from korn lacks all that... Korn is introducing House Metal if you will... My only hope is that Korn does the whole reunion thing and play all of their music up to Take a Look in the Mirror... On that note I hope bands like Black Label Society Godsmack FFDP will not resort to Paul Okenfold to try new music
