Operation Hydration 2013

9th Annual Operation Hydration: 98KUPD’s summer-long partnership with the Phoenix Rescue Mission continues its efforts to collect bottled water for valley-wide relief agencies. Each Thursday throughout the summer KUPD is out collecting bottled water from listeners & local businesses in support of the campaign.

Operation Hydration collected more than 150,000 bottles of water in the summer of 2012 and has collected nearly 1,000,000 bottles since the inception of the drive in 2005.

The Phoenix Rescue Mission thanks all donors for helping keep the homeless hydrated this Summer. The Phoenix Rescue Mission is proud to have the support of businesses who collect bottled water from the community and deliver it to us for the PHXRM’s ‘Code Red Summer Heat Relief’ program..

Valley citizens can do their part before the end of the summer by either stopping by KUPD collection partners to drop and size donation off or by calling the PHOENIX RESCUE MISSION directly at (602) 233-3000 or via their website at http://phoenixrescuemission.org/contact-us/
