Video: Godsmack at U-Fest 2012 - Part Three

Here is the final installment of the first three songs in Godsmack's set at U-Fest this last Saturday.  A little background on this portion of the footage...

At this point in the show, I was trying to get the best video I could without stepping over the other photographers. When you're in the photo pit, photographers are shifting from side to side so they can get the one shot that that is perfect for their publication. In my case, I was just trying not to trip over the electrical lines that could result in laying out the other guys.  At one point in this song, I was filming Shannon Larkin and out of nowhere this guy from the back of the stage runs to the front past Sully and dives from the left of me.  I tried to keep my focus on Shannon, but I couldn't help but look behind me to see where this guy had landed.

As it turns out, this guy slammed into a few people and even laid out some chick.  When security pulled him out of the maelstrom bodies, this girl didn't look like she was OK.  While I was still trying to keep the camera on the show, I couldn't help but look back to make sure this poor girl was OK.  I want to say that at one point in time she had collected herself and went back to rockin' out.  I could be wrong.  All I know is that she took quite the blow and I hope she was able to finish out the 40 remaining minutes.   

So, my apologize if the camera jumps around quite a bit in this installment. It's just my hope that these videos are a reminder of how great of a time you had this last weekend. I can't tell you how much we apprecaite all of U coming out and supporting this show.
