PSYKOSTEVO - James Hetfield by far is more iconic. Though I have to give Maynard the points for originality.
To me an icon is a symbol of their genre and that's where James Herfield takes the cake. He might not be as currently popular as some other front men but he defined an era and genre for music to come.
