Bring Me the Horizon premieres "Butterflies" Amy Lee collaboration from new 'Post Human' EP

Bring Me the Horizon‘s new EP Post Human: Survival Horror is out today, it includes the U.K. outfit’s much anticipated collaboration with Evanescence‘s Amy Lee.

The track’s title, which requires an Amy Lee-level lung capacity just to say out loud, is “One Day the Only Butterflies Left Will Be in Your Chest as You March Towards Your Death.” It’s a haunting ballad the shows off the emotion of both Lee and Horizon frontman Oli Sykes‘ vocals.

And in case you thought Horizon was being deliberately obtuse with the song’s name, the butterflies in your chest and the marching towards your death is mentioned not once, but twice in the lyrics.

You can listen to “Butterflies,” along with the rest of Post Human: Survival Horror, now via digital platforms. The nine track collection also includes the Yungblud collaboration “Obey,” as well as guest spots by BABYMETAL and Nova Twins.

Post Human: Survival Horror is the first entry in Bring Me the Horizon’s Post Human EP series.
