Damon Albarn details new solo album, ‘The Nearer the Fountain, More Pure the Stream Flows’

Damon Albarn has announced plans for a new album called The Nearer the Fountain, More Pure the Stream Flows.

The sophomore solo effort from the Blur and Gorillaz frontman will arrive November 12, and can be pre-ordered now. You can listen to the album’s title track now via digital outlets.

“I have been on my own dark journey while making this record,” Albarn says. “It led me to believe that a pure source might still exist.”

Albarn released his first solo album, Everyday Robots, in 2014.
