Always wanted to have your band’s song played on the radio?  Here’s your chance.
Each year Holmberg asks local bands to send us their music to play on the air during the show.
This annual feature will host the FIRST 30 local/unsigned bands/musicians who submit an original song/track by playing their track on the air on Monday, November 20th and/or Tuesday, November 21st during Holmberg’s Morning Sickness from 5:30am – 10:00am.

ALL 30 SLOTS HAVE BEEN CLAIMED!!! NO FURTHER ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED

Here’s what you need to do:
Submissions must include the following in order for your band to claim one of the 30 open spots and be emailed to Morning Show Producer Dick Toledo at dtoledo@98kupd.com:

  • High quality .mp3 or .aac file of the song you wish to air.  MUST be a CLEAN edit.
  • Written bio of the band. Can be of any length but preferably just a few paragraphs.
  • Contact information for one representative of the band including email and cell phone number.

Songs will be judged by the HMS team and scored with the Top 5 advancing to the semi-finals at COPPER BLUES LIVE at Desert Ridge Marketplace where all 5 semi-finalists will play live to determine the overall winner.
More information on this year’s PLAYDIO FINALS and location & time will be forthcoming.

This year the grand prize winner receives $2,000.00

*Contestants must be 18 years of age and permanent residents of the State of Arizona.
Submissions limited to the first 30 who enter.
