We’ve got our first taste of Jaime Reimagined, an album of covers and remixes of the songs on Jaime, the 2019 debut solo album from Alabama Shakes’ Brittany Howard.

Childish Gambino — aka Donald Glover — delivers a sexy, slinky take on the album’s hit “Stay High,” punctuated by strings and electronic embellishments.  The project also features contributions from Bon Iver, Common, EARTHGANG, Little Dragon, Michael Kiwanuka and more.  Jaime Reimagined comes out digitally on Friday; a vinyl edition arrives September 24.

As previously reported, Howard will perform at Lollapallooza later this month, and also appear at festivals including Outside Lands, Life Is Beautiful and Bonnaroo between dates with My Morning Jacket in September.
