Mastodon has launched a cooking show to celebrate the release of the band’s new Medium Rarities compilation.

The show stars bassist Troy Sanders — aka Chef Troyardee — who’s motto is “It’s OK to make mistakes.” He teaches you how to make a pizza using a vinyl record as crust, which looks just as appetizing as it sounds.

You can watch the inaugural Cooking with Mastodon episode streaming now on YouTube.

Medium Rarities was released last Friday. It includes various covers, B-sides, instrumentals and live tracks, plus a new song called “Fallen Torches.”

Mastodon is also working on a new album, the follow-up to 2017’s Emperor of Sand.
