Slipknot is apparently gearing up to make a “massive” announcement.

That’s according to frontman Corey Taylor, who tells Kerrang! Radio that the masked metallers have “some stuff brewing” that he “can’t talk about.”

“It’s massive,” Taylor declares. “I can say this: you will hear about it probably in the next month or so.”

Taylor also shares that Slipknot is currently booked to play U.S. shows this September, but those plans are, of course, dependent on the state of the COVID-19 pandemic. Slipknot had planned to tour the U.S. last spring and summer before those dates were canceled.

Slipknot released their latest album, We Are Not Your Kind, in 2019.

Meanwhile, Taylor’s continuing to work on his upcoming horror movie, titled Zombie vs. Ninja. The film, which Taylor wrote, is “gaining traction” and may start shooting soon, he says.
