Of Monsters and Men vocalist Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir has released a new solo song, “Disaster Master.”
The track, which is available now via digital outlets, appears on Nanna’s upcoming debut solo album, How to Start a Garden.
“[‘Disaster Master’] speaks on some of the major themes of the album and is a nod to the title track,” Nanna explains. “The lyrics are about attempting to embrace chaos as a natural part of yourself. To almost find comfort in the worst case scenario. It ends in search for a simpler path, a little faraway wish.”
How to Start a Garden will be released May 5. It also includes the previously released songs “Crybaby” and “Godzilla.”
Nanna will launch a U.S. tour in July.
