Like pretty much every other band, Rammstein‘s 2020 tour plans were scrapped due to the COVID-19 pandemic. One silver lining, though, is that the German metallers now have the time for other things, such as heading back into the recording studio.
In a Facebook post Wednesday, Rammstein revealed that they’ve done just that. “Sadly no tour this year — but it’s great to be back in the studio!” they wrote.
Hopefully this means we won’t have to wait another 10 years for a new Rammstein record like we did for the band’s latest release, 2019’s untitled effort.
Rammstein had been scheduled to play their first ever U.S. stadium headlining shows this past summer. The outing’s since been postponed to the summer of 2021.
