Saliva announces 'Every Twenty Years' EP featuring rerecorded versions of 'Every Six Seconds' songs

Saliva‘s breakout 2001 album Every Six Seconds turns 20 this year, and the band is celebration the milestone with a new EP.

Titled Every Twenty Years, the set includes new versions of songs from Every Six Seconds — including the singles “Your Disease” and “Click Click Boom” — recorded with the current Saliva lineup, which features vocalist Bobby Amaru in place of founding frontman Josey Scott. Amaru joined Saliva following Scott’s departure from the band in 2011.

“In the ten years I’ve been with the band, I’ve realized how strong the fan base for us really is,” Amaru tells Billboard. “I wanted to do something for the fans for embracing me with open arms.”

“I heard fans all the time asking me if we ever thought about recording some of the old hits with my voice,” he adds. “I’ve sang those songs enough to where they have become an important chapter of my life. What better way than to revive this EP album to mark the 20th anniversary.”

Every Twenty Years will be released May 7. You can listen to the new version of “Your Disease” now via digital outlets.

Here’s the Every Twenty Years track list:

“Your Disease (2021 Version)”
“Click Click Boom (2021 Version)”
“After Me (2021 Version)”
