Steve Lacy is among Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People for 2023.
Writing of the “Bad Habit” artist’s impact, Chloe x Halle‘s Chloe Bailey shares, “What I admire most about Steve Lacy is that he’s always himself — a good person who loves to make music.”
“In a world where everything’s so contrived, he just wants to nerd out and be free,” Bailey continues. “And that makes him a force to be reckoned with.”
A TV special titled TIME100: The World’s Most Influential People honoring those selected this year will air April 30 at 7 p.m. ET on ABC. It’ll be hosted by actor Jennifer Coolidge, and will feature performances by Doja Cat and Lea Michele, all of whom are also included on the list.
