Corey Taylor is among the busiest people in rock, but he’s taking one project off his plate for the time being.

During an interview on The Green Room with Neil Griffiths podcast, the Slipknot frontman revealed that his band Stone Sour has “run its course for now.”

“We all talked as a band and decided to kind of put Stone Sour on indefinite hiatus,” Taylor explained. “That’s the way it is. We’ve put it on the shelf for now. Everybody’s kinda going and doing their own thing.”

Stone Sour released their latest album, Hydrograd, in 2017.

Taylor, meanwhile, is gearing up to release his debut solo, CMFT, on October 2.
