Florence + the Machine season is upon us.

Over the weekend, a Twitter fan account for the “Dog Days Are Over Outfit” shared that they’d received a mysterious letter marked “Florence + the Machine Chapter 1” alongside a playing card with a picture of frontwoman Florence Welch.

Florence has since shared a photo of the card on the band’s Twitter, along with the caption “Something’s coming.” The same teaser is also posted to the Machine’s website, which encourages you to join the Florence mailing list.

Florence + the Machine’s latest album is 2018’s High as Hope. More recently, they released a single called “Call Me Cruella” for the 2021 Disney film, Cruella.

Meanwhile, Welch is writing original music and lyrics for an upcoming The Great Gatsby musical.
