Could we be headed toward a Thirty Seconds to Mars and Muse collaboration?

Speaking with Billboard, Jared Leto shares he’d be interested in teaming up with Matt Bellamy and company.

“We’ve toured together before, we love them,” Leto says of the “Madness” rockers. “Great guys, and I think we’d be an interesting, interesting pairing.”

Whether or not it does indeed ever happen, they best start building an arena now big enough to contain whatever giant rock anthem a Thirty Seconds to Muse collaboration would inevitably produce.

In addition to contemplating working with Muse, Thirty Seconds to Mars has been chipping away at new material to follow 2018’s AMERICA album. In a tweet earlier this month, the group shared a video of drummer Shannon Leto in the recording studio alongside the caption, “The energy we’re bringing into 2023.”

Muse, meanwhile, dropped a new album called Will of the People last August. They’ll launch a U.S. tour in support of the record in February. Evanescence will also be on the bill, as will Highly Suspect for select dates.
